IBC (International Building Code)

The International Building Code (IBC) is a standard code created by the International Code Council (ICC), taking into consideration health and safety concerns for buildings, and is used by most organizations throughout the U.S. In addition to recommending specific materials and methods of construction, the IBC also promotes public safety and welfare by providing safeguards from hazards related to certain environmental conditions and real estate locations.
